Patient advice and liaison service (PALS)

Our Patient advice and liaison service (PALS) is a free and confidential service that is here to help when you need advice, have concerns or don’t know where to turn. Our aim is to agree the most appropriate way to deal with your enquiry and provide a resolution as quickly as possible.

The Patient advice and liaison service (PALS) is here to:

  • Help answer any questions about your care and treatment received from Somerset NHS Foundation Trust and provide information on NHS services
  • Advise and support you, your family and/or carers about matters relating to Somerset NHS Foundation Trust
  • Listen to your suggestions for improving our services for patients and visitors, and respond to your suggestions and queries
  • Pass on your compliments to staff when you have had a positive experience with any aspect of your care and treatment
  • Provide timely resolution to enquiries and concerns.
