One way system at Musgrove Park Hospital – starts today (Mon 14 Apr)

From 6pm today (Monday 14 April), the access road to Musgrove Park Hospital from Wellington Road to the front of the Queen's Building will be one way to allow for continued construction of the surgical centre.

This will mean that all traffic will exit Musgrove Park Hospital via Parkfield Drive. The one-way system will be in place for approximately 12 weeks.

Our teams are working with emergency services, including the South Western Ambulance NHS Foundation Trust, and the local public transport operators, including bus services and park and ride operators. We anticipate that this will increase the travel time when using bus services.

To support the flow of traffic, a marshal will be stationed at either end of the one-way system between 6am and 10pm, 7 days a week. Outside of these peak times (between 10pm and 6am) traffic lights will be in placed to control the flow of traffic.

Thank you in advance for your patience and support.
