Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is managed by the Board of Directors, made up of Executive and Non-Executive Directors who take care of the day-to-day running of the Trust and are accountable for meeting national standards, achieving performance targets and fulfilling financial requirements.
Non-Executive Directors bring external expertise to the organisation and provide advice and guidance to the Executive Directors.
Regular updates are given by the Board, which reports to Trust members and to the public through Board meetings and the Council of Governors. The Part A section of the meetings are open to the public. Information about the meeting dates and papers can be accessed here.
