If you have blood cancer or a blood disorder, you will be treated on ward 9.
We give chemotherapy and stem cell infusions and we treat you here if you have neutropenia (abnormally low level of neutrophils, a type of white blood cell, which makes you extremely vulnerable to a serious infection).
Patients on Ward 9 typically stay for about 2-weeks and we work hard to make sure you are as comfortable as possible.
Visiting times
Visitors are welcome between 10am to 8pm – seven days a week. If you have relatives who wish to visit or stay outside of normal visiting times please discuss this with the nursing team.
