Most patients coming to Parkside are referred by their GP, who will write a letter to Parkside or directly to a specific consultant asking us to see you. Some treatments and services do not require a referral from your GP, or you can be referred by another professional such as a dentist or optician.

If you are unsure, please give our admissions team a call on 01823 342019 and we would be delighted to confirm whether you need a referral letter.

To refer you to Parkside, the GP or other professional providing a referral simply needs to email us a letter with your details and a brief summary of your condition to parkside@somersetft.nhs.uk, and we’ll take it from there.
